This manual is for THERMEX Njord electric heated towel rails (hereinafter referred to as the towel rail, appliance, device). The full name of the appliance is indicated in the ID plate on the body of the appliance, as well as on its box.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Heated towel rail is an appliance intended for use in bathrooms for drying towels, heating and drying the bathroom. It may also be applied in other amenity spaces. The appliance is designed only for household use. Figure 1. Product exterior 1.

It is prohibited to leave the working appliance unattended. When installing the appliance, keep the safety clearance – at least 1 m to the closest surface from the front and 50 cm from each other side. The ambient temperature should be within the range of +5ºС to +40ºС. INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION Before installing the towel rail, take the appliance out of the box and remove all the packing materials.

Use two ST4.0x20 machine screws to fasten two inner mounting brackets and two front mounting brackets to the appliance. Mount the inner mounting brackets of the appliance in the outer wall clamps. Figure 4.3. Appliance mounting. ATTENTION! Make sure the towel rail is tightly fastened to the wall before using it.
OPERATION After being mounted, the towel rail should be connected to the mains. The system voltage must conform to the technical properties of the appliance. After the towel rail is plugged into the socket, there will be a sound signal, the display will light and show the current temperature.
CARE AND SERVICING Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and unplug it from the power source. Use a soft damp cloth with a soap solution or without it and clean the exterior surface of the appliance. ATTENTION: Before cleaning or doing anything else with the appliance, let it cool down fully.
