Introduction
The Australian Monitor Installation Series PPA2 dual phantom power supply
is an in-line power supply that will provide phantom power for 2
condenser mics. With phantom power selectable between 12VDC &
48VDC, the AMIS PPA2 is a cost effective phantom supply that will power
nearly any commercially available microphone. The AMIS PPA2 can be
run off 2 9 volt batteries or can be powered by the supplied 12 VDC
power supply. As part of the AMIS Contractor Tools range, the AMIS PPA2
is an inexpensive Phantom Power supply that is integral to a wide variety
of installations.

Description

• Power LED: This LED indicates the unit is "on"
• 12VDC Power input: This input accepts power from the supplied
12VDC power supply. Note that the tip is Negative.
• Mic 2 input: This balanced XLR input excepts the mic 2 signal &
supplies Phantom power to this condenser mic
• Mic 2 Output: This balanced XLR output is for connection to a mixing
console, signal processor etc
• Mic 1 input: This balanced XLR input excepts the mic 1 signal &
supplies Phantom power to this condenser mic
• Mic 1 Output: This balanced XLR output is for connection to a mixing
console, signal processor etc
• Phantom Power Voltage Selector: This switch selects between 12 volt
& 48 volt phantom power depending on the requirements of the
mics connected
