III. INSTALLATION 1. Work environment Our electric repair stands are not intended to be used in environments with explosion or chemical hazards. The area where the electric repair stand is installed must be equipped with an electrical power source. The ambient temperature must be between +5°C and +40°C. The machine’s support surface must be flat, stable, and free from vibrations.
3. Assembly The assembly must be carried out by working people with appropriate qualifications. During lifting operations, no person should be close to the load. Respect the recommended work area and safety distances to install the machine. During assembly operations, the wearing of gloves and safety shoes is mandatory.
4. Power Supply Make sure that the power supply is disconnected and cannot be accidentally restored. Ensure compatibility of the electrical network with the voltage supply of the electric repair stand. Ensure compliance of the electrical installation and protections. It is IMPERATIVE to use an electrical socket with a 30 mA differential or equivalent for the connection of the electric repair stand.
5. Single to double repair stand transformation This operation is only necessary in case of delivery of the secondary column PR-88150 separately from the main column, when converting a single-column repair stand PR-88100 to a double-column repair stand PR-88200. The pairing operation requires a 4 mm hex key, an 8 mm hex key, and a 7 mm open-end wrench (or a 6 mm hex socket).
IV. OPERATING PROCEDURE 1.
