INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL INFORMATION
INTENDED USE
Phototherapy devices are for medical treatment of psoriasis, vitiligo, and other dermatological disorders.
INDICATIONS AND CONTRAINDICATIONS
Device may be used for therapeutic treatment of skin disorders like psoriasis and vitiligo.
SAFEGUARDS, CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
Any use not prescribed by a physician may be hazardous, void warranty, and cause health risks.
PRESCRIPTION ONLY USE
This device is to be used only by prescription. Consult a physician before use and follow their directions.
SAFEGUARDS FOR PHOTOTHERAPY EQUIPMENT
Read instructions, monitor minors, remove key, avoid liquids, grounding, unplugging, clear air, stable surface.
UV LIGHT EXPOSURE WARNINGS
Avoid overexposure, cover areas except treated, wear protective eyewear, be aware of latency periods.
DEVICE REQUIREMENTS AND OPERATION

Consult your physician to determine your Skin Type for treatment time calculations.
FITZPATRICK SKIN TYPE CLASSIFICATION
Guidelines for classifying skin types based on response to sun and tone.
EQUIPMENT CLASSIFICATION
Device is Safety Protection Class I and FDA Class II Medical Device. Sale restricted to physician order.
POWER AND ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
Connect to a dedicated, grounded 15A or 20A circuit. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
Use in dry rooms with ambient temperature between 60-100°F. Protect from chemical vapors.
UV ENERGY
Narrowband UVB energy (311-313 nm) is safe and effective. Intensity depends on lamp hours and positioning.
GENERAL PHOTOTHERAPY GUIDELINES
TREATMENT GUIDELINES FOR PSORIASIS
Physician determines time, changes, frequency. Treatment at 85-90% MED. Follow specific protocols.
MAINTENANCE PHASE FOR PSORIASIS
Goal is symptom-free state with minimal exposure. Two approaches: stop treatments or step-down.

Vitiligo patches treated as Skin Type I. Brown freckles appear and spread. Active treatment until patches fill in.
MAINTENANCE PHASE FOR VITILIGO
Begins when skin is re-pigmented at least 75%. Slowing therapy or stopping. Follow physician's schedule.
PANOSOL 3D® (8 AND 10 LAMP MODELS)
POSITIONING YOUR BODY
Stand 6-8 inches from screen. Adjust doors. Stance for maximum coverage. Keep areas at uniform distance.
VITILIGO PROTOCOLS
