GENERAL INFORMATION
The function of facade awnings is to shade open areas from unwanted solar
radiation. They should not be considered security equipment.
The end user must read and observe these Operating and Maintenance Instruc-
tions before using the awnings for the first time.
OPERATION
Motorized operation
Awnings are operated using central or local wall-mounted or hand-held con-
trols with an Up / Down / Stop button. The operating functions of the controls are
described in the operating instructions for the controls.
Manual operation
Awnings are operated using an articulated or hook-in crank.

Page 3: Maintenance / Inspection
Facade awnings meet the requirements of the wind classes indicated in the declaration of conformity and may only remain deployed up to the indicated wind class. Facade awnings provide solar shading and may not be used as security equipment.
