POOL MAINTENANCE Section POOL MAINTENANCE Keep your pool wall and frame clean. Always wash away any deposits of pool chemicals which land on the frame of your pool. Wash periodically with a mild soap solution (no abrasives). At least once a year use a clear non-yellowing household wax on all metal components. -

POOL MAINTENANCE Section WINTERIZING YOUR POOL Along with the cool nights of autumn comes the end of the swimming season. During the winter your pool is subject to more stress than in the summer, and any breakage that is caused by incorrect winter procedures is not subject to any warranty with this company. - Page 82 POOL MAINTENANCE Section CLOSING YOUR ABOVE GROUND POOL FOR THE WINTER At the end of the season, you must follow these directions to make your pool ready for the winter. For areas where water freezes make sure to follow these instructions before the water is frozen, otherwise do not touch the frozen water, this may damage the pool.

When it’s time for spring cleaning, this will save you hours of work and reduce the cost of chemicals needed to restore your water quality.

With spring thaw, if water leaks from the skimmer or return outlet opening, place a tube at the opening so that the water will run off as far away from the basin of the pool as possible.
