Summarization of Contents

General Safety Information
Pressurized Devices
Equipment is a pressure containing device. Do not exceed max operating pressure. Depressurize before service.
Electrical Safety
Requires electricity. Install per codes. Disconnect power before service. Not for hazardous environments.
Breathing Air
Air treated by this equipment may not be suitable for breathing without further purification.
Receiving, Moving, and Unpacking
Receiving and Inspection
Check shipment for visible loss or damage at delivery. Insist on notation by carrier's agent.
Moving and Storage
Do not tip dryer onto its side when moving. Do not store above 130°F (54.4°C).
Installation Guidelines
Ambient Air Temperature
Locate indoors between 40°F and 100°F. Avoid operation below 40°F to prevent freeze-up.
Location and Clearance
Mount on a level base in a clean, well-ventilated area. Ensure adequate clearance.
System Arrangement
Install downstream of aftercooler/separator. Inlet air temp max 120°F. Use filters for contaminants.
Piping and Connections
Use rated connections. Support piping. Recommend shutoff and bypass valves.
Electrical and Condensate Connections
Removing Condensate
User must install separate discharge line for automatic drain valve. Anchor drain line.
Electrical Connections
Connect to specified voltage, phase, frequency. Use cord and plug. Proper voltage is critical.
Instrumentation and Controls
ON/OFF Switch and Indicator
Switch controls power. Light signals when dryer is on.
Drain Valve Operation
Electronic valve discharges condensate. Adjust open/closed times for efficiency.
Operational Procedures
Start-Up and Operation
Follow start-up procedure to avoid voiding warranty. Check indicator lights and condensate discharge.
Shutdown Procedure
Turn power switch off and disconnect main power supply. Vent internal pressure before servicing.
Maintenance
General Maintenance
Refrigeration system maintenance by competent mechanic. Call distributor for corrective maintenance.
Daily Maintenance
Check separator for condensate discharge. Clean strainer/solenoid valve if needed.
Monthly Maintenance
Inspect condenser coils. Remove dust and dirt with soft brush or limited pressure air.
Electronic Drain Valve Servicing
Disassemble drain valve body for cleaning or component inspection. Follow reassembly steps.
Field Service Guide
Water Downstream of Dryer
Troubleshoot compressor not running or no condensate discharge. Check for leaks or drain failure.
Excessive Pressure Drop
Address high inlet air temperature, low outlet pressure, or icing issues. Check aftercooler.
Color Indicator Out of Green Zone
Diagnose red or blue indicator. Red indicates high temp/fouled condenser. Blue indicates expansion valve issue.
