a long time, when the unit

When the unit is using
wireless, the display shows
"Please wait connecting "
Internet radio can't be
played
Sound is on and off
Cause
Network is not connected
The unit had previously
connected to wired internet
connection, now has been
connected to wireless internet
connection.
You have a static IP address
Network bandwidth/speed is
insufficient
Wireless router blocks the
internet radio MAC address
There is no wireless connection
Radio station is not
broadcasting, or the station has
reached the maximum allowed
number of listeners.
Network bandwidth/speed is
slow
Suggestion
Check if the router/modem is powered on, and check if the wireless access
point you connected is correct. If you have a laptop check to make sure
your wireless connection is working. For wired connection, check if the
Ethernet is plugged into the internet radio.
Configure the connection for wireless by setting : 'Configure -> Network
-> wired/wireless' , and then to select wireless or Auto
You can configure a static IP address on the radio using the menu item
'Configure -> Network Config -> Edit Config', and then select 'No' for
'Auto (DHCP)'.
Internet radio consumes 32kbps to 256 kbps. Dial up connection doesn't
work with internet radio. Cable, ADSL or fiber are all good.
Check that your access point does not restrict connections to particular
MAC addresses. You can view the radio's MAC address by checking with
the direction of 'Configure -> Network Config -> View Config -> MAC
address'. Note that the this internet radio has both wired and wireless MAC
addresses.
Check if:
1. The router/modem is on
2. The unit is too far from the wireless access point.
3. Check with laptop, if available, to make sure wireless is operating
correctly.
Select another radio station.
It may happen when listening to high bit rate station, or the network
bandwidth is occupied.
