The fi ttings are designed for fl uids in fl uid group 1 and for gases in fl uid group 2. According to this, the nominal diameters are categorised as DN10 - DN125, 1" - 4" in accordance with Section 3, Article 3.
Operating Instructions 2.2 Intended Use The AWH inline sight glasses are intended for installation in pipelines. They are for monitoring the fl ow of fl uid in commercial and industrial operations (food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries and lowgerm processes) and have been designed and built specifi cally for that purpose. Suitable fl ow media include water, steam, food and liquids from the chemical and pharmaceutical industry subject to a hygienic standard.
The product should preferably be installed in the vertical position. See the table for dimensions. You can fi nd the technical data sheet on the product pages of the current AWH “Strainers and Sight Glasses” catalogue, online or you can request it directly from Armaturenwerk Hötensleben GmbH.
