    UNVENTED NATURAL GAS FIREPLACE PRODUCT FEATURES OPERATION This vent-free fireplace is clean burning. It requires no outside venting. There is no heat loss out a vent or up a chimney. Heat is generated by both realistic flames and glow- ing embers. When used without the blower, the fireplace requires no electricity making it ideal for emergency backup heat.

Space: Includes the room in which you will install fireplace plus any adjoining rooms with doorless passageways or ventilation grills between the rooms.

    INSTALLATION NOTICE: This heater is intended for use as supplemental heat. Use this heater along with your pri- mary heating system. Do not in- stall this heater as your primary heat source. If you have a central heating system, you may run system’s circulating blower while using heater.

    UNVENTED NATURAL GAS FIREPLACE INSTALLATION Continued 8. Tighten trim hanging screws (#10-16 with .25 shoulder) into holes in cabi- nets. Place the assembled trim onto fire- place cabinet. Align hanging notches on trim with hanging screws on side of fireplace (see Figure 7). Push trim firmly into place, sliding hanging notches over hanging screws.

    INSTALLATION Continued 10. Carefully insert fireplace into cabinet man- tel. Be careful not to scratch or damage hearth base, cabinet mantel, or any lami- nate trim on hearth base. Remove protec- tive material from top of hearth base and from front of fireplace (if any). Note: You can secure fireplace to hearth or floor.
