Halogen Kit Install Guide Removing Headlight Carefully pull your headlight from its fixed position. Try not to lose any loosened screws! Removing Mounting Brackets You will most likely be reusing the stock headlight mounting brackets, so be careful when removing them.

Test fit Dapper Headlights Once your HID bulbs are secured inside your Dapper Lighting projector and your extra spade adapters are removed, TEST FIT your headlights to make sure they fit snug just like your OEM headlights.

Halogen Kit Install Guide Securing Dapper Headlights Now that the Dapper Lighting headlights fit correctly, you will need to refasten them. Using the same mounting hardware associated with your OEM headlights, tighten your headlights into place and prepare to start the wiring.

Halogen Kit Install Guide PCU HARNESS Note: For use with Harness Part Number: Your Sevens feature our Power Control H4H1ADS Unit (PCU) which is an automated headlight control system module and no longer needs a diode. Please follow the guides accordingly and contact us if you have any questions.
NOT working, double check that you have good connections and correct polarity on all parts of the harness. If you are still having issues, please contact a Dapper Lighting Technician before moving forward. Test High Beams Turn on your high beams and check for a change in output pattern.

HID Kit Install Guide Reinstalling Mounting Brackets Once your old headlights are out of your mounting brackets, secure your Dapper Headlights by lining up the three tabs with the TOP side of the housing on top. Installing your HID bulbs Unscrew the clear plastic protective case to free your HID bulb and place it inside your new Dapper Lighting projector.

HID Kit Install Guide Properly Seating and Securing Bulbs Once you have installed the bulb, pull the clips across the bulb and secure them onto the locking tabs. Remove Spade Adapters After installing your HID bulbs into your new Dapper Lighting projector housings, completely remove this extra spade adapter from both sides.

HID Kit Install Guide Wiring Power Locate your positive (red) terminal on your battery. On your Dapper Lighting Relay Harness (Part #9), locate the two fused (red) terminals. Using a Socket Wrench (Tool #1), connect positive wires to the positive terminal on your battery and secure tightly.

HID Kit Install Guide Wiring Diagram POWER FROM BATTERY ( POWER (Green) GROUND (Black POWER TO HID BALLAST (White) RELAY BATTERY Locate the black and green wires from the H4-H1 Adapter. Plug the green wire’s spade terminal into Power (green) located on the relay connector (Part #8). Plug the black wire’s spade terminal into Ground (black, below power) located on the relay connector.

When projector headlights are aimed too high, they can blind oncoming traffic. If they are aimed too low, road visibility is impaired.

HEADLIGHT AIMING Instructions STEP 5: Mark two more spots 2" below the spots you first marked. STEP 6: Back up the vehicle 20 feet so that it is 25 feet away from the vertical surface. Check to see if the cuto! point is directly in between the two marks you have made.
Older vehicles have more delicate headlight harnesses and may not be supplying the correct voltage or output designed from the factory. Verify that your vehicle is putting out at least 12V to the headlight plugs. Contact a Dapper Lighting Technician if you are still having wiring issues.

The blue high/low wires from the headlight aren’t long enough. Should I lengthen them? Some vehicles may need a high/low extension depending on where the harness is installed (Dapper Lighting SKU #HLEXT). It is recommended to use Dapper Lighting wiring to ensure proper function.
