TM48 Shunt Board

The TM48 shunt board enables the TM500 Battery Status Monitor to
accurately measure the amperage, voltage, and amp-hour capacity of
48-volt battery systems. Refer to the TM500 Owner' s Manual for
operating instructions.
Assembly Instructions
Remove the two brass machine screws and washers on the side of the
Deltec
50mV/500 amp shunt. If your shunt is already equipped with a
shunt board, remove the board and retain the screws, washers, and
standoff spacers. The TM500NS also includes the screws, washers, and
standoff spacers. Do not attempt to mount the TM48 without standoff
spacers. Damage will result to the shunt board.
Place a lock washer over each machine screw and insert into the shunt
board. Then place a standoff spacer over each screw and attach to the
shunt. The figure below illustrates the correct assembly sequence.
For accurate sensing, set the charge voltage on the TM500 above 35-
volts. Refer to the TM500 User' s Manual for instructions.
