Page 7: Liability Information
Minimelder/Maximelder consists of a control unit and a probe. The control unit and the probe are connected by means of a two-wire signal cable. Minimelder triggers an alarm when the probe is no longer sub- merged. Maximelder triggers an alarm when the probe is sub- merged. - Page 8 The magnet is embedded in a float. The float moves up when the probe is submerged in a liquid. The factory set- ting of the magnet in the float causes Minimelder to switch when the probe is no longer submerged and Maximelder to switch when the probe is submerged.

Minimelder If the probe of Minimelder is not submerged in liquid, the alarm buzzer and the red alarm lamp are activated. Mount the probe in such a way that it is suspended at the height/level of the required switching point. The probe can be fastened by means of the enclosed G 1" screw connector. The probe weight ensures that the probe is suspended vertically in the liquid. Minimelder-R, Maximelder-R... -
