Pool / Spa Pump Set-Up and Operation To achieve better pump self-priming, install the pump below the water level of the pool. • It is recommended that Teflon tape is used on all threads and plumbing. • It is recommended to have the pump and any pool plumbing installed by a suitably qualified person.
Pool / Spa Pump Operation • Once the plumbing and pump have been installed and the pump is primed, switch the pump ON at the mains electrical supply. • It is recommended to use an electrical timer to automate switching the pump ON and OFF during the day / night.
