Purpose
This release is based on McAfee Agent 4.0 Patch 2 and includes all of the issues resolved in that release. This hotfix extends
McAfee Agent Patch 2 to address the two issues described below under Resolved issues.

Known issues in this release of the software are described below:
Issue: This Hotfix fails to install on systems without a "My Documents" folder or with a "My Documents" folder that is

- Page 1 Make sure you have installed the correct version of the product(s) in this list before using this release. Purpose This release is based on McAfee Agent 4.0 Patch 2 and includes all of the issues resolved in that release. This hotfix extends McAfee Agent Patch 2 to address the two issues described below under Resolved issues.
- Page 2 Issue 2 keeps this from occurring in subsequent McAfee Agent upgrades. (Reference: 485728, 474870) Workaround: A system must be without the McAfee Agent or have a local “My Documents” folder prior to installing this Hotfix.” Resolved issues Issues that are resolved in this release are listed below.
- Page 3 Hotfix files. Hotfix files are not a substitute or replacement for product Service Packs which may be released by McAfee, Inc. It is a violation of your software license agreement to distribute or share these files with any other person or entity without written permission from McAfee, Inc.
- Page 4 For any such software covered under the GPL, the source code is made available on this CD. If any Free Software licenses require that McAfee provide rights to use, copy or modify a software program that are broader than the rights granted in this agreement, then such rights shall take precedence over the rights and restrictions herein.
