Software Configuration:
 Close all programs on the computer
 Open VLC Player and complete the following:
• Select [Tools] at the top of the program
• Select [Preferences]
• Select [Hot Keys]
• Double click on the empty Global column across
from Pause only, press [F4]
• Double click on the empty Global column across
from Play only, press [F9]
• Double click on the empty Global column across
from Very short backwards jump, press [F3]
• Double click on the empty Global column across
from short backwards jump, press [F7]
• Double click on the empty Global column across
from short forward jump, press [F8]
• Select [Save]
(Once you make these setting changes, you do not have to set them again.)
Troubleshooting: Foot pedal not functioning properly?
 Make sure the USB plug is properly plugged into the USB port on the computer.
 Make sure the pedal is getting enough power. If your foot pedal doesn't work properly when
connected to a USB hub, try connecting it directly to one of your computer's USB ports. Some ports
on a USB hub, monitor, or other device that's plugged into your computer might not provide
enough power to support your foot pedal.
 Verify that there are no system updates required, or restarts pending.
 Attempt plugging the device into a different USB port on the computer.
 If the computer does not recognize the foot pedal, restart your system or reinstall the USB driver by
unplugging and re-plugging in the USB foot pedal.
