When charging the unit manually with the Wall adapter provided via mains power, the RED Charging
Light will be lit when Ba ery needs Charging and will go off when Ba ery is Full. Before first use, we
do recommend that you leave power adapter connected for con$nuous $me of 8 hours and ignore
the charging light indicator.
The Red Charging Light will also be LIT if it has good sunlight and that indicates that the unit is
Charging via the 6Wa solar panel. In lower light/cloudy Condi$ons the Charging Light May flash red,
indica$ng it is Charging (But at a slower rate) as opposed when the RED Charging light is ON solid
RED.
In Low Light or dark condi$ons Charging Light will be OFF and unit can work up to 15 Days from full
Charge without any further Charging before the Ba ery runs out.
Due to Varying weather and light condi$ons, We Recommend that you Manually Charge the Unit at
least once every 1-2 Months indoors with the wall adapter to keep the Ba ery at op$mal levels and
use a KV Tester tool to check your fence voltage from $me to $me.
If the unit is not used, we s$ll recommend that you Manually Charge the unit once every 1-2 Months
to preserve the longevity of the internal lithium-Ion Ba ery pack.
For Tes$ng of your fence output, we do recommend that you get a standard KV meter see this

These are standard available on line or from your local farming or fence supplies shop and
cost around $ 30. This is output, a good tool to check first the voltage being delivered from
the unit itself by connecting it to both terminals and then to test your fence and your
grounding is OK by testing at various points of your fence to Make sure your fence network
is OK.
Please note that the Grounding Rod supplied with your Kit is only Starter pack only. You may
get a bigger or more grounding rods as required depending on your length of fence and
your
specific setup and soil conditions etc.... Grounding Rods are available standard online or
from your local hardware/Farming or fence supply shop etc....
