When using this electrical appliances, safety precautions must be followed as described below:
1.
Read all instructions before putting this product into use.
2.
Always disconnect your power cord to the product when not in use and during warm weather.
3.
Do not use the product when obvious damage is noticed to your supply cord or plug. Inspect cord and plug before
using.
4.
Do not use the product if the product has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any manner.
5.
Do not dismantle or puncture the unit for any reason. This could cause damage and will void the warranty.
Instructions for Installing & Filling the 3 Gallon Reservoir:
Line up to the "notches" in the red Drinking Area with the "L" slots on the white Reservoir then press down into place.

Turn the white Reservoir clockwise to lock the white Reservoir into place and open the water flow hole.
3.
Turn the entire unit upside down to rest on the top of the white Reservoir. Do not disassemble!
4.
Remove the black rubber Stopper from the Filling Hole in the center of the red Drinking Area. Do not lose the Stopper!
5.
Fill the entire white Reservoir with water then snuggly place the black rubber Stopper back into the Filling Hole.
6.
Place your hand underneath the red Handle on the top of the white Reservoir then carefully turn the unit right side up.
Water will immediately flow out of the Reservoir into the Drinking Area until it reaches the top of rectangular flow hole.
Instructions for Use: 120 VAC: This unit is recommended for operational use to 0°F!

Place the unit directly on a hard flat surface inside a sheltered area. Protect from wind!
1(a) When hanging the unit by the red handle –please secure with heavy duty rope/wire to support the unit above the ground.
2.
Plug a heavy duty fully grounded extension cord directly into the supply cord.
3.
Plug the heavy duty extension cord into a fully grounded 120 VAC GFCI receptacle outlet.
4.
Route the extension cord and place the unit as to protect from damage by birds and/or livestock.
5.
This product is thermostatically controlled to operate only when temperatures fall below 35F.
6.
Remove the extension cord when not in use.
7.
Inspect the product before using. Read all instructions.
Test for Proper Operation:
(1) Unplug the power and remove the white Reservoir from the red Heated Base. (2) Place the red Heated Base into your
freezer for approximately 60 minutes to re-set the thermostat. (3) After 60 minutes, remove the unit from the freezer and plug
the unit into a known working receptacle outlet. (4) Place your hand flat on the inside of the red Heated Base after five (5)
minutes to feel for heat. If the surface is warm to the touch then the red Heated Base is operating correctly.
The Heated Poultry Fountain, Model HPF-100 is guaranteed for one year after the original date of consumer purchase or date
stamped on the unit against defects due to material and the company's workmanship only. The sole obligation shall be to replace
the defective unit with a replacement unit. Units should be "Checked for proper operation" prior to returning as defective. Units
must be returned prepaid. No liability for loss or damage of any nature or kind, whether arising out of or from the use of the
product, whether defective or not defective, is assumed by Farm Innovators, Incorporated.
