ANTIDECUBITUS CUSHION
The antidecubitus cushion prevent the suffering of bed sores and decubitus ulcers, typical of bodies that remain
immobile for a long period of time. These injuries occur mainly in the body's support points. Excessive pressure of
the bones deprives them of blood and oxygen, resulting in redness, skin tissue and deep wounds. To avoid the
appearance it would be convenient to place appropriate products behind each support point and to change the
patient in different body positions regularly. It is also crucial to avoid any type of humidity because this fact favors
the formation of these bed scores.
INDICATIONS OF USE
Recommended for the prevention of bedsores and improve rest. Depending on the risk of bedsores and the user's
weight, the use of one cushion or another will be recommended. The shape of the cushion is designed to fit
wheelchairs and is recommended for use both by private users and in Hospitals, Residences and Clinics. We advise
to position the cushion preferably on a flat and rigid base.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
The cover of the cushion is removable in order to clean it:
- Clean only with water and neutral soap. It is not recommended to use: chlorine, bleach, disinfectants with alcohol
or abrasive products.
- We recommend to pre-washed a small surface area be when using hospital cleaning products.
- Never use drying presses, the waterproof layer can be broken by not letting the water molecules out. Important
not to wet the viscoelastic foam.
- Do not iron.
WARNINGS!
■ Check that the cushion fits correctly on the seat where it is to be used.
■ It is recommended that the cushion is 0.4"-0.8" smaller than the seat.
■ *K40003: The visco-elastic part (white color) facing up, as in the image.
■ Caustic products, paint strippers, solvents and sharp objects in direct contact with the cushion are prohibited.
■ Check the cushion regularly for normal wear and tear: holes, cracks, change in surface appearance, etc.
■ Store the cushions preferably in a flat position and protected from natural light and moisture.
■ Do not burn or throw away in the wild, outside of the designated areas.
■ The guarantee will remain in force for 3 years from the date of the consumer's original purchase. This warranty
does not cover normal wear and tear of the product and does not replace legal warranties.
■ Please observe the care and maintenance instructions. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage
resulting from improper care or maintenance.
■ Please contact the company in the event of a problem to resolve it.
■ This does not affect your legal rights.
■ Please keep these instructions for future reference.

COJÍN ANTIESCARAS
El cojín antiescaras previene la aparición de escaras o úlceras de decúbito, propias de los cuerpos que
permanecen inmóviles durante un largo periodo de tiempo. Estas lesiones se manifiestan sobre todo en los puntos
de apoyo del cuerpo. La presión excesiva de los huesos priva de sangre y de oxígeno, lo que ocasiona
enrojecimiento, destrucción de la piel y profundas heridas. Para evitar su aparición es conveniente colocar
productos adecuados debajo de cada punto de apoyo y cambiar frecuentemente al paciente de posición, así como
evitar cualquier tipo de humedad que favorezca la aparición de estas úlceras.
INDICACIONES DE USO
Recomendado para prevenir la aparición de escaras y mejorar el descanso. Según el riesgo de escara y peso del
usuario, será recomendable el uso de un cojín u otro. La forma del cojín está pensada para adaptarse a sillas de
ruedas y recomendado para su uso tanto por usuarios particulares como en Hospitales, Residencias y Clínicas. Se
aconseja posicionar el cojín preferentemente sobre una base plana y rígida.

completamente la funda del cojín.
LIMPIEZA Y DESINFECCIÓN
El cojín es desenfundable, lo que permite el lavado de la funda.
- Limpiar solo con agua y jabón neutro. Está desaconsejado utilizar: cloro, lejía, desinfectantes con alcohol o
productos abrasivos.
- Se recomienda realizar un test previo de lavado en una pequeña superficie cuando se utilicen productos
limpiadores de hospitales.
- Nunca utilizar prensas de secado, se puede romper la capa impermeable al no dejar salir las moléculas de
agua. Es importante no mojar la espuma viscoelástica.
- No planchar.
¡ADVERTENCIAS!
■ Comprobar que el cojín se adapta correctamente el asiento donde va a ser utilizado.
■ Recomendable que el cojín sea entre 1-2cm mas pequeño que el asiento.
■ *K40003: la parte viscoelástica (blanca) hacia arriba como en la imagen.
■ Están prohibidos los productos cáusticos, decapantes, disolventes y objetos punzantes o cortantes en contacto
directo con el cojín.
■ Examinar regularmente el desgaste normal del cojín: orificios, grieta, modificación del aspecto de la superficie,
etc.
■ Almacenar los cojines preferentemente en posición plana y protegidos de la luz natural y de la humedad.
■ No quemar ni tirar en la naturaleza, fuera de los lugares destinados para ello.
■ La garantía permanecerá vigente durante 3 años desde la fecha de compra original del consumidor. Esta garantía
no cubre el desgaste normal del producto y no sustituye a las garantías legales.
■ Tenga en cuenta las instrucciones de cuidado y mantenimiento. El fabricante no asume ninguna responsabilidad
por los daños derivados de un cuidado o mantenimiento incorrectos.
■ Se ruega contactar con la empresa en caso de incidencia para resolverla.
■ Conserve estas instrucciones para referencias futuras.
■ Según las recomendaciones del fabricante este producto es adecuado para su reciclaje.
