Instructions
The FRIO cooling wallet is an evaporative unit
purposely designed to keep medication*
cool within safe temperatures of 18-26°C
(64-78°F) for a minimum of 45 hours, even in
a constant environmental temperature of
37.8°C (100°F).
FRIO cooling wallets are reusable and can be
reactivated, ensuring a consistent and secure
storage environment for 45 hours or more.
How to use:

Submerge the inner wallet
(containing the crystals) in cold
water and allow it to soak until it
swells, yet remains pliable. This
should take approximately 15-19
minutes when soaking a dry inner
pouch and 2-5 minutes
when reactivating a partially
activated inner pouch.

Drying Out and Cleaning
• When not in use, remove the inner wallet and
allow to completely air dry until it returns to
crystal form.
• To accelerate drying, position the wallet near a
heat source, or on a sunny windowsill.
Periodically shake the wallet to distribute the
crystals evenly, making future reactivation more
convenient.
• The outer wallet can be washed in warm water
using a very mild detergent. The inner wallet can
be spot cleaned by using a soft bristle brush and
non-bleach antibacterial spray.
The FRIO cooling wallet consists of two parts:
The inner cooling wallet, which requires
activation with water and the Cambrelle outer
cover, which protects the inner cooling wallet.
* Medication must be maintained at its
recommended safe temperature. Consult the
manufacturer's storage instructions to ensure
suitability for storage in a FRIO cooling wallet.

Gently towel dry and then
allow the wallet to air dry for
5 minutes, this allows the
crystals to absorb any excess
water.

When semi-dry to the touch
place the activated wallet in
its outer cover.
Continuous Use
To ensure continuous safe storage of
medication*, re-submerge the FRIO inner
wallet in water every 45 hours or when the
gel quantity diminishes, causing it to revert to
its crystal form.
When consistently used, reactivation only
takes 2-4 minutes as the crystals remain
partially activated.
Please note: The inner wallet does not need
to be fully dry when reactivating your FRIO
cooling product.
