Hydrofarm CK64050 Instructions

This heat mat warms the rooting area to improve germination and rooting.
These instructions apply to the following
heat mat models:
• Jump Start (MT10006)
• Dirt Genius (19006)
• Dirt Genius (19010)
1. Place the mat on a well drained surface
(without standing water).
2. For warmer mat temperatures, place
it on an insulated surface rather than a
cold floor. Covering your plant tray with a
humidity cover or dome will also keep the
root area warmer, and maintain humidity
control for better rooting.
3. Plug the mat into a 120 volt power
source.
4. This mat is designed to raise rooting area
temperatures approximately 10–20˚F
above ambient air temperature.
WARNING: Fire or electric shock may
result from improper use. Make sure
that the surface under the mat is free
of sharp points or objects that might
puncture the mat. Do not place mat
inside tray or cover directly with soil
or growing medium. Do not place any
heat insulating materials over heat
mat, as it may cause it to overheat.
WARNING: Do not immerse in water.
