HELPFUL TOOLS
An allen wrench is included with the hardware.
NEEDED
You will need a small adjustable wrench for the seed guards. You may also
need a pair of needle nose pliers.
You may want to use your own hand or power tools, but PREVUE is not
responsible for damage caused by over-tightening or improper use.
FIND A FRIEND (or GO IT ALONE—both are OK)
If you follow these steps, cage assembly will be easy for one person. But you

REVIEW ALL PARTS & HARDWARE
After unpacking all components, review all parts and count the contents of
the screw packets and compare the quantities against the Hardware List on
the Parts List page.

You will need these pieces: Lay the front panel on the floor.

[ 4 ] SHORT Insert the corner posts at the base of the roof frame into the open corners on the cage frame.
- Page 7 Assemble the HAMMERTONE PLAYTOP UNIT. You will need these pieces, in this order: [ 2 ] LONG Insert the post from PT2.1 into the open end of PT2.2. Attach this unit to the playtop with LONG screws. Attach the PT3 perch/cup bar to the unit with LONG screws.
- Page 8 Install the ACCESSORIES. You will need these pieces: Install the perch by inserting both slotted ends onto a horizontal wire of an even height. Open the cup door. Insert the cup holder into the sleeves. Insert the cup into the cup holder. Insert the tray into the bottom channels.
- Page 9 Assemble the SEED GUARDS. You will need these pieces: SEED GUARDS: To make assembly easier, flip the FRONT and SIDE guard upside down on the floor as shown. Both SIDE guards (left & right) have extended TABS at the bottom corners. Align the holes on the flashing strips at the corners. The front guard has NOTCHES along Insert a SHORT screw through both guards and the bottom strip.
