A: CarPlay has a memory function when connecting. After you connect for the first time, the car
will automatically connect when you start it later. If your phone is disconnected and the device is
connected to another phone, you will need to reconnect it yourself.
Q: How do I check if the MMB CarPlay Adapter is compatible with my car?
A: If your car is equipped with a factory wired Apple CarPlay interface, it is compatible with your
car. If you are unsure about compatibility, you can provide us with the model and year of your
vehicle.
Q: Can I use this product with my Android phone?
A: I'm sorry, but this product exclusively supports the iOS system and CarPlay function. It is not
compatible with Android phones.
Q: Can the product be connected to multiple mobile phones? For example, my wife' s mobile
phone also wants to be connected.
A: Of course, but please don't get me wrong, if you want to connect another phone, you must
cancel the currently connected phone, and you cannot connect two phones at the same time.
Q: I have an iPhone and my car supports CarPlay, but it still won't connect?
A: Can you tell me your car model and year? Or take photos or videos and send them to us so we
can find the problem quickly and accurately.
Q: My car was equipped with CarPlay from the factory, but the device doesn't work when I plug it
in. what do I do?
A: Please follow the steps below:
Make sure the device is plugged into the same USB port used for wired CarPlay, which is usually
marked with the CarPlay logo or smartphone icon.
Since our devices communicate through the CarPlay protocol port, make sure your car's launch
application settings default to Apple CarPlay. If set to Android Auto or another app, change it in
the vehicle settings to connect to CarPlay.
Q: I used the CP box, and it felt quite hot to the touch. Is this normal, and will it impact its
performance speed?
A: Rest assured, our product has undergone rigorous testing, and the heat you felt should not
affect its operational speed or safety.
Q: Why does my device frequently lose connection or fail to start?
A: Some car models may not provide the necessary voltage through the CarPlay port, causing the
device to reboot due to insufficient power. Please contact the seller with your car model
information, and we will provide a suitable cable to resolve the issue.
