SierraTeck MicroSound V16.00 Quick Start Manual

This guide will help you hit the ground running in no me!
STEP 1: Insert ba eries (not included):
● Remove ba ery cover and insert 3x AAA 1.5V alkaline ba eries, no ng the correct polarity
● Use new alkaline ba eries only. Used and/or other ba ery types may cause unit to not func on properly
STEP 2: Turn on
● Turn on device by sliding power/volume switch to middle or upper se ng (low or high volume)
● When the device is turned on, it may take a few seconds for the sensor to warm up and start responding.
During this me, it is normal for the device not to detect mo on and/or double trigger.
STEP 3: Record Audio
● Press bu on "A" and hold for 3 seconds un l you hear a beep. Start recording a er beep and keep bu on
pressed. Release bu on to stop recording. If you hear another beep while recording, it means me is up. Up
to 2 minutes of audio can be recorded. Bu on "A" must be kept pressed while recording, releasing bu on
will stop recording.
● To hear back recorded audio, press bu on "B". To stop playback, press bu on "B" again
● If you hear crackling sound, this indicates that your ba eries are low, please replace with new ba eries
● We test all units a er manufacturing by pre-recording a human voice, this is normal and does not indicate
unit is used
STEP 4: A ach to Wall
● Using the 2 screws provided, a ach unit to wall directly or using the ball mount parts supplied
● Regardless of method chosen, only bo om 2 screw holes at back of unit are used, upper one is unused
TIPS:
● For indoor use. External use may result in moisture damaging internals of device and void warranty
● Top right corner of device has openings that resemble microUSB port and microSD card slot. Those openings
are for different varia ons of this product and have no func on or use on this unit
