DOOR HANDLES MUST BE REMOVED FOR INSTALLATION.
1. Ensure the orientation (direction) of the product matches the
door handle with a round handle base.
2. Unscrew the handle from the door on the side you need to have
access blocked using the appropriate screw driver or Allen key.
Store all parts safely.
NOTE: Leave the far side door handle (the door handle not
being locked) in place, do not remove.
3. Door should look similar to this when handle is removed.
4. Position the Lever Lock, over the spindle and existing screw
holes. If the centre (center) hole is too small for your door
handle spindle, use pliers to trim inner circle of plastic.
Any sharp edges remaining on the plastic will be concealed
once the handle is reinstalled.
Ensure it is horizontal and level.
5. Check it is positioned so the Loop will fit over the door handle
when assembled.
6. Before screwing into place, again test the Loop will fit evenly
over your door handle.
OPERATION
To Engage: Squeeze side Tabs on the Loop and rotate up and over the door handle until the Loop locks into place past the Locking Catches. Release Tabs. The Loop must not be able to rotate down.
To Disengage: Squeeze in the Side Tabs on the Loop and rotate down over the door handle until the Loop locks in the down position. Release Tabs. The Loop must not be able to rotate up.
Note: The Loop locks in both the up and down position to prevent children from Engaging or Disengaging the product. When Lever Lock is Engaged in most cases you cannot open the door from the
opposite side of the door, so door handles on both sides of door could be locked. When blocking access to a room is not required, always ensure this item is Disengaged to avoid being locked in a room.

LES POIGNÉES DOIVENT ÊTRE ENLEVÉES POUR
L'INSTALLATION.
1. Assurez-vous de placer le produit dans le même sens que la
poignée de type levier munies d'une base circulaire (verrou et
poignée pointant dans la même direction).
2. À l'aide de la clé Allen ou du tournevis approprié, dévissez la
poignée du côté que vous souhaitez bloquer. Rangez toutes les
pièces en lieu sûr.
REMARQUE : Laissez la poignée en place de l'autre côté de la
porte (là où le verrou ne sera pas installé).
3. Une fois la poignée enlevée, la porte devrait ressembler à ceci.
4. Placez le verrou par-dessus la tige carrée et les trous pour les
vis. Si le trou central est trop petit pour l'axe de la poignée de
porte, utilisez une pince pour couper le cercle intérieur du
plastique. Tout bord tranchant restant sur le plastique sera
dissimulé une fois la poignée est réinstallée.
Assurez-vous que le verrou est parfaitement horizontal.
5. Vérifiez la position du verrou et assurez-vous que la boucle
recouvrira la poignée quand celle-ci sera installée.
6. Avant de revisser la poignée, assurez-vous de nouveau que la
boucle recouvrira uniformément la poignée.
