Power Adapter
Power Connector
(USB micro-B Connector)
GETTING STARTED
Power adapter plugs into wall receptacle
and converts AC to a single DC voltage
required for the aquarium's LED light
1. Carefully remove the power adapter from the
packaging.
2. Unwrap the tie from the power cable and straighten
power cable.
3. Locate the connector port on the LED light, usually
found at the back of the light.
4. Grasp the power connector and insert into the
connector port on the LED light, Figure 1.
5. Form a Drip Loop beneath the electrical receptacle,
Figure 2. Creating a Drip Loop is a way to plug in the
power adapter into the electrical supply when it used
for equipment involving water. The Drip Loop ensures
that the power cable loops down below the electrical
receptacle before it is plugged into the receptacle,
allowing any water dripping down the cord to land on
the floor before reaching the electrical receptacle.
6. Insert the electrical plug into the electrical receptacle.
7. The LED light is now ready to be used.
