3. Finalizing Camera Setup The following steps are optional, but we strongly recommend that you go through all of them before you deploy the camera. 1. Format the SD card. It is very important that you format the SD card in the camera before using it and it is a good idea to format it again every so often.

Camera Setting Suggestions 1. Sensitivity This sets how sensitive the camera is to a difference in temperature between moving objects and the environment in its field of view. Typically it is best to set this to Low if the camera is in an environment colder than 40 °F, Normal for between 40 °F and 80 °F, and High for temperatures higher than 80 °F Please adjust this setting based on the current temperature in your location or where you'll be deploying/testing the camera.
