TIRE PLUG KIT
For car and truck tires
Proper Use:
• Remove any puncturing objects.
• Insert rasp tool into hole and slide up and down to roughen and clean inside of
hole.
• Remove plug material from protective backing, insert into eye of needle and coat
with rubber cement.
• Insert with plug centered in the eye of the needle into puncture until plug is
pushed approximately 2/3 of the way in.
• Pull needle straight out with a rapid motion. Do not twist needle while pulling out.
• Cut off excess plug material flush with the tire tread.
• Reinflate tire to recommended pressure and test for air leaks by applying a few
drops of soapy water to plugged area, if bubbles appear, repeat the process.
WARNING!
This repair kit is only suitable for emergency tire repairs to enable vehicles to be driven to a service center
where proper repairs can be made to the tire. Not intended for use for major tire damage. Radial ply
passenger car tires may only be repaired in the tread area. No repairs are permitted on the bead, sidewall,
or shoulder area of the tire. Extreme caution should be used while using tools to prevent injury. Eye
protection should be worn while repairing tire.
WARNING & PRECAUTION: Rubber cement mixture is extremely flammable. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. When
using, avoid inhaling vapors and use only under well ventilated conditions. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during usage.
Exposure may result in nausea, headache, confusion, or instability. If symptoms occur, move to fresh air. Keep tightly
capped when not in use. Do not use or store near heat, flame, sparks or other flammable sources. Contains petroleum
distillate and heptane.
FIRST AID: If swallowed do not induce vomiting. Call physician or poison control immediately. In case of eye or skin
contact, flush thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children.

Instrucciones:
• Quite objetos que causaron la ponchadura.
• Meta herramienta de raspar en el agujero y deslize hacia arriba y abajo para
endurecer y limpiar dentro del agujero.
• Usando los tapones incluidos y quitándoles del plástico, meta el tapón centrado
en el ojo de la aguja, y cubra con cemento.
• Meta la aguja con tapón centrado aproximadamente a 2/3 dentro del hoyo.
• Rápidamente saque la aguja sin torcer.
• Corte el material exceso/sobrante de tapón al nivel del neumático.
• A la presión recomendada, infle el neumático y revise por escapes de aire usando
algunas gotas de agua con jabon al área tapada, si las burbujas aparecen, repitan
el proceso.
¡ ADVERTENCIA!
Este juego de reparación sólo es apropiado para reparar una llanta en forma emergente con el fin
de conducir el vehículo hasta un centro de servicio en donde se hagan las reparaciones adecuadas
a la llanta. No debe usarse en caso de daños mayores de la llanta. Las llantas con pliegues radiales
sólo pueden repararse en la superficie de rodamiento. No se permite hacer reparaciones en el reborde,
en la pared lateral ni en el hombro de la llanta. Tenga extremo cuidado cuando use herramientas para
evitar lesiones. Utilice protección para los ojos cuando repare llantas.
ADVERTENCIA Y PRECAUCIÓN: La mezcla del cemento para caucho es sumamente inflamable. Nocivo o fatal si se
ingiere. Cuando se use, evite inhalar los vapores y úsese sólo en lugares bien ventilados. No coma ni ingiera líquidos,
ni fume durante el uso. La exposición puede causar náusea, dolor de cabeza, confusión o inestabilidad. Si ocurren
síntomas, lleve a la víctima a un lugar bien ventilado. Manténgase bien cerrado con el tapón cuando no se use. No lo
use ni lo guarde cerca del calor, flamas, chispas u otras fuentes de ignición. Contiene destilado de petróleo y heptano.
PRIMEROS AUXILIOS: En caso de ingestión, no induzca el vómito. Llame de inmediato a un médico o al centro de
control de envenenamiento. En caso de contacto con la piel, lave profusamente con agua. Manténgase lejos del
alcance de los niños.
