INSTALLING EYE BOLTS
Eye bolts should be screwed into floor joists
horizontally.
1. Measure the distance between the centers
of the clip mounting holes in bracket,
along the length of the dehumidifier.
2. Use that dimension to determine eye bolt
spacing. Eye bolts should be installed
horizontally.
3. Use a drill and 13/64" (max) drill bit to drill
pilot holes.
4. Use a screw driver to turn in eye bolts until
no threads are visible. See FIGURE 2.

5822 Dehumidifier Hanging Kit
Installation Instructions
INSTALLING BRACKETS
The brackets are designed to
attach to the dehumidifier using
the leveling feet.
1. Tip the dehumidifier enough
to remove one foot.
2. Slide the foot through the
large hole in the bracket.
3. Screw the foot back into the
base of the dehumidifier. Fully
tighten foot. See FIGURE 1.
4. Repeat with remaining feet.
INSTALLING RATCHET ROPES
1. Clip the carabiners connected to the ratchet to the eye bolts. See FIGURE 3.
2. Use the release lever to lengthen the rope to the hanging bracket.
3. Clip the carabiners on the knotted end of the rope to the hanging brackets. See FIGURE 4.
4. Pull down on the free end to take out any slack in the hanging rope.
5. To raise unit, simultaneously pull up on the rope attached to the brackets or support the
weight of the corner being adjusted, and pull down on the free end of rope.
6. Make 6" or less vertical adjustments on each rope until unit is at desired height.
7. Use a level to make sure unit is level in both front to back and side to side directions.
