When using electrical appliances, safety precautions must be followed as described below:
1. Read all instructions before putting this product into use.
2. To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT USE NEAR RUNNING WATER OR IMMERSE
PRODUCT IN WATER!
3. Always unplug the product when not in use.
4. Do not use the product when obvious damage is noticed to the supply cord or plug. Inspect cord
and plug before using.
5. Do not use the product if the product has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any manner.
6. Do not dismantle or puncture the heated base for any reason. This could cause damage and will
void the warranty.
Instruction for use: 120 VAC only
1. Test for Proper Operation Prior to Use: Unplug unit and place in a freezer or outside in freezing
temperatures for 1 hour. Then plug unit back in to see if surface heats up. If it does, it's working
properly.
2. Place the Heated Base directly on a hard, flat surface inside a sheltered area such as coop or pen.
3. Place the metal pan or metal poultry fount over the round label on the surface on the base.
4. Plug the product directly into a properly grounded 120 volt AC receptacle outlet.
5. Route the supply cord and place the heated base as to protect from damage by animals.
6. Allow 30 minutes for the unit to warm to temperature. The upper surface of the product will get
extremely hot the touch. Hot - Do not touch the surface when energized!
7. Unplug, clean, and store when not in use.
8. Store indoors after winter season. Inspect cord before using. Read all instructions.
9. Do not use extension cords.
The Heated Base, Model HP-125 is guaranteed for one year after the original date of consumer purchase or date stamped on the
unit against defects due to material and the company's workmanship only. The sole obligation shall be to replace the defective
unit with a replacement unit. Units should be "Tested for proper operation" prior to returning as defective. Units must be returned
prepaid. No liability for loss or damage of any nature or kind, whether arising out of or from the use of the product, whether
defective or not defective, is assumed by Farm Innovators, Incorporated.
