PROBABLE CAUSES
Motor will not

TROUBLESHOOTING CHART
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace fuse.
reprime.
Clean impeller.
Replace check valve or foot valve.
Thaw pipes. Bury pipes below frost line.Heat
pit or pump house.
Raise foot valve and/or strainer above water
source's bottom.
If voltage under recommended minimum,
check size of wiring from main switch on
property. If OK, contact power company.
Check rating table.
Use the suitable hose and hook up tightly.
Check rated pump performance.
Check for proper supply voltage to make
certain it corresponds to nameplate voltage.
Use larger offset piping.
Pull pump and clean. Check pipe for scale or
corrosion.
Instal a check valve in discharge line.
Inspect check valve for correct operation.
Instal larger basin
If yes, pump is releasing air from ant-alrlock
gap, just fully submerge and run pump for a
while, leakage wll be Improved by itself.
If yes, use PTFE sealant tape and screw
tightly; Otherwise considerhose or connector
defective
a.Reprime.
b.Check hose connections
c.Replace foot valve.
d. Lower suction line into water and
