PMM 6630 is supplied by the USB port PC through the provided USB Data- 2.6 Installation Supply cable. Connect the USB Data-Supply cable to the PMM 6630 paying attention to the arrow marked on the external side and while turning clockwise tight firmly the connector to the device.

Do not connect the PMM 6630 by applying force to the housing; always hold firmly the N connector with your fingers to install the instrument. Do not apply to the PMM 6630 power levels exceeding the maximum allowed value (see Table 1-1 Specification).

The PLOT function performs Time Domain measurements and showing how the power level changes over time. Display Live measurements The screen displays a continue running graph at the Sampling time setting on the graph (see §4.2.4). (Plot) Before starting the graph, the software allows saving the measurements in a report file using the Log function (see §4.5).

For a detailed analysis of the graph, move the mouse cursor/crosshair to any point of the trace. In the upper left of the plot will appear the level marked and the instant in which the measurement is made. Use only AC/DC Converter provided with the PMM 6630FOA. In general, the user must operate only with the accessories supplied by the manufacturer.

The USB-OC standard accessory connected to the PMM 6630FOA allow an 40m maximum fiber length; the standard length supplied is 10m. Tight firmly the PMM 6630 RF N connector to the source while holding firmly the 6630FOA with other hand. Loose connections may cause wrong readings.
Switch ON the PMM 6630FOA fiber Optic Adapter by lever switch (the PMM 6630 is automatically switched on). Both PMM 6630FOA LEDs remain OFF; If the red led turns on, the residual autonomy during measurements is about 15 minutes and it is suggested to recharge the batteries.
