    About LE FX The Union Audio LE FX is a compact, affordable, easy to use, Analogue/DSP based effects unit, designed to perfectly integrate into any DJ setup. The eight effects have been carefully designed to work with all types of electronic dance music, either adding subtly to the mix, or crea ng drama c breakdowns, courtesy of the high level of audio manipula on this apparatus provides.

    Effects Selec on The LE FX has eight built-in effects which are selected by turning the le side rotary control. The currently selected effect number is indicated by the 3-Bit Binary display as indicated in the diagrams below: FX 0 = Analogue Delay FX 4 = Phaser FX 5 = Bit Crusher FX 1 = BPM Delay...
  • Page 10 Effects Selec on con nued SEND EFEECTS - The first three effects (Analogue Delay, BPM Delay, and Reverb) are known as “send” effects. These effects add to the “dry” (unaffected) sound. The Wet/ Dry control automa cally changes func onality, so that when fully an clockwise only the Dry signal is heard.

    Delays 0. Analogue Delay: This effect emulates the sound of an analogue delay. It repeats the sound without being locked to a specific rhythm, and when you change the delay me, the pitch of the repeated sound shi s, adding a unique character. The parameter 1 control adjusts the delay ming, and Parameter 2 adjusts the feedback (repeats).

    Reverb FX 2 = Reverb Reverb : This effect simulates the sound of a classic hall reverb, making your audio sound like it’s in a large space. The Parameter 1 control adjusts the size of the room, while the Parameter 2 adjusts both the Pre-Delay and High Frequency content of the reverb tail. Wet/dry on/off...

    Flanger FX 3 = Flanger Flanger: This effect creates a harsh metallic, resonant sweeping sound. Parameter 1 controls the LFO sweep frequency, while Parameter 2 controls the depth of the effect. Wet dry on/off : The Wet/Dry control adjusts the balance between the dry signal and the effected sound.

    Phaser FX 4 = Phaser Phaser: This effect creates a smooth, filtered sweeping sound. Parameter 1 control adjusts the filter sweep speed, while the Parameter 2 changes the filter depth, affec ng how strong the effect is. Wet dry on/off : The Wet/Dry control adjusts the balance between the dry signal and the effected sound.

    Bit Crusher FX 5 = Bit Crusher Bit Crusher: This effect simulates digital distor on, giving your audio a gri y, lo-fi sound. The Parameter 1 controls the bit depth, while Parameter 2 varies the dry/wet ra o. Wet dry on/off : The Wet/Dry control adjusts the balance between the dry signal and the effected sound.

    HPF Reverse FX 6 = HPF Reverse HPF Reverse: This is a unique effect that combines a High-Pass Filter (HPF) with sampler that reverses one beat of the audio. The Parameter 1 controls the cut-off frequency of the filter, while Parameter 2 mixes the filtered audio with the reverse sample. If Parameter is fully clockwise only the reverse sample will be heard.

    HPF Stu er FX 7 = HPF Stu er HPF Stu er: This effect combines a High-Pass Filter (HPF) with sampler that repeats one beat of the audio. The Parameter 1 controls the cut-off frequency of the filter, while Parameter 2 mixes the dry audio with the one-beat sample. If Parameter 2 is fully clockwise only the repeated sample will be heard.
