  • Page 3 Thank you for choosing TRIVATI® by Haworth. TRIVATI is a progressive-built office wall system; therefore careful considerations to the order of component installation must be addressed before the beginning of its installation. Familiarity of the system joints, brackets and support components with regards to the customer-expected layout must be clearly understood before deciding where to start and how to progress.

Section 1 - Safety Working with Glass When handling tempered glass use cut resistant gloves and safety glasses to protect yourself. When staging or placing glass into frames also wear glass sleeves to protect your forearms from sharp edges. When lifting glass on or off crates/carts always keep the glass panes in an upright position. Never carry the glass flat.

  • Page 8: Cutting Station

Cutting Station To avoid aluminum shavings from damaging carpet and walls, a cutting station should be used. A cutting station can be built by using shipping materials (protective foam or cardboard sheeting) to protect floors and walls. Commercial saw hoods are also available that will mount to the saw or saw table, these hoods are preferred as the saw can be easily moved to work areas.
  • Page 9: Staging Materials & Identification

Staging Materials & Identification Using the floor plans and technical drawings, determine the product requirements for each build area. All products should be kept close by but not directly in the work area. Keep material type (Rails, Panel Inserts, Brackets, Glass, etc...) grouped together and organized. Glass should be staged in order of installation and glass stamps should be marked to assist in quick and proper glass placement.
  • Page 10: Section 3 - Order Of Assembly

There are multiple applications of rails and components that must be installed in a specific order during the installation of Trivati due to the progressive nature of the installation process. Failure to install the components at the right time could result in having to rework part of the installation or difficulty installing the components.
  • Page 11: Floor Types

Floor Types Trivati is capable of, and intended, to be installed on all floor types and substrates. Due to various floor constructions, the anchoring components are not provided by Haworth. The appro- priate fastening components and frequency of attachment should be determined by the site engineer.
  • Page 12: Rail Channels, Seals And Caps

Rail Channels, Seals and Caps The number of seals and locations of seals required in framing rails is dependent on the Glass panes and Solid panel inserts application as well as Door locations. Seals should be inserted or removed as needed either before rails are installed or before the rail ends are blocked by other framework.
  • Page 13: Panel Types & Levelers

Panel Types and Levelers The panel inserts that make up the wall partitions can have multiple types and finishes. Panel types can either be Solid or Glass. Glass panel types are typically 10mm or 12mm thick. For glass types, finishes and panel size, refer to the layout to ensure they are installed in the correct orientations and locations.
  • Page 14: Brackets & Rail Joints

Brackets and Rail Joints The Locking Blocks of the Rail Bracket Kit, Vert-Horz must be slid into the rail slots prior to the rails being anchored to the floor or walls or attached to one another. Pre-planning and understanding how many are needed and in which orientation they should be inserted is critical to a smooth installation.
