Safety Instructions
For your personal safety, please observe the following safety
instructions:
CAUTION
Epilepsy information
The Skyle eye tracker (Skyle) works with pulsating infrared light.
In people who are sensitive to this light (e.g. photosensitive ep-
ilepsy), this can lead to epileptic seizures or even unconscious-
ness. This can also occur if no such clinical picture was previous-
ly known. If you experience dizziness or similar symptoms while
using the eye tracker, please refrain from further use.
CAUTION
Heat generation
Since Skyle processes the image data of the eyes independently,
there is a lot of heat development. Therefore, take reasonable
care when changing the position of Skyle during and immediate-
ly after use.
CAUTION
Infrared warning
Certain (medical) devices are sensitive to the influence of infra-
red light. The pulsating infrared light of the Skyle can therefore
impair or disturb the functionality of such devices in the imme-
diate vicinity. We therefore recommend not to use Skyle near
such devices.
CAUTION
Small parts
Skyle consists of several components, which can be swallowed
as individuals and can lead to choking, especially, but not only,
in children. Keep the device away from children.
General remarks
The Skyle eye tracker is designed for indoor use. Excessive
brightness caused by strong sunlight or artificial light can
lead to disturbances or limitations in the functionality of the
device. Opening, changing, manipulating or similar actions
of the Skyle voids the legal warranty of the manufacturer. In
this case, eyeV GmbH rejects any liability claims. If the Skyle
Eye-tracker does not work, please contact eyeV GmbH within
14 days after purchase.
In principle, eyeV GmbH rejects any liability resulting from
