    Omnexo Sensor Splitter REG 1 Features The Sensor Splitter is used to connect multiple Omnexo Central control units to 1 to 3 weather stations. Thus, separate sensors are not needed for each central control unit. For ex- ample, if there is one central control unit per storey in a construction project, all central control units can be supplied with the necessary weather data from a single weather station.

    Omnexo Sensor Splitter REG 2.5 Installation, connection and repairs DANGER Danger to life through electrical voltage! Connecting, maintenance or repair work on the electrical parts of the entire unit must only be performed when power to the unit has been cut off, unless otherwise described! The unit must also be sufficiently secured against unau- thorised and inadvertent reactivation.

    Omnexo Sensor Splitter REG 3 Installation This section will tell you where and how the individual components have to be installed. WARNING Dangerous situations and malfunctions are possible! The device and its auxiliary components may only be operated when installed and at the specified installation locations.

    Omnexo Sensor Splitter REG 3.1 Installing the device The devices are designed for installation in a distributor. They are to be in- stalled in a dry and readily accessible location. The devices must never be mounted outdoors or exposed to direct sunlight.

    WAREMA Weather station move. If one WAREMA Weather station pro or multiple WAREMA Weather station move are connected, they must be supplied by a separate power supply unit.  The specified lines are recommendations. As specified in VDE 0022, the operating company and the installer are responsible for compliance with the regulations put forth by the power supply company and the VDE.

    Omnexo Sensor Splitter REG 4.2 Bus lines CAUTION Only make changes to the bus wiring while the unit is in a de-energised state. Several basic principles must be observed to ensure fault-free bus communi- cation.  Do not swap the connections of the bus of the central control unit (terminal X50) with the bus connections for the weather stations (terminal X56).

    Omnexo Sensor Splitter REG 4.3 Hardware settings on the Sensor Splitter For the bus communication to operate properly, only one Sensor Splitter may query the measuring values of the connected weather stations. This Sensor Splitter must be set as a MASTER using the encoding switches on the board of the Sensor Splitter.

    Otherwise, long line lengths may result in communication problems.  The WAREMA Weather station pro has a 120 Ω terminating resistor that can be connected via a switch (see documentation on the weather station).  The WAREMA Weather station move is supplied with a terminating resistor (see documentation for the weather station).

    Omnexo Sensor Splitter REG 5.2 Connecting a separate power supply unit If a large number of devices are used, additional power supply units may be required. It is also necessary to use separate power supply units if individual unit sections are to be switched on and off separately.

    Omnexo Sensor Splitter REG 6 Commissioning Each Omnexo network is commissioned separately one after the other. When commissioning the Omnexo Central control unit, a small amount of rewiring work is required. CAUTION Only make changes to the bus wiring while the components and networks are in a de-energised state.
