WARNINGS


READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.


Drowning Hazard: Babies have drowned while using infant bath tub.

To prevent drowning:

  • Stay in arm's reach of your baby.
  • Never rely on a toddler or preschooler to help your baby or alert you to trouble. Babies have drowned even with other children in or near bath tub.
  • Never leave your baby unattended in the bath, even for a few moments. If you need to leave the room, take the baby with you.
  • Babies can drown in as little as 1 inch (2.5 cm) of water. Use as little water as possible to bathe your baby.
  • Use in empty adult tub.
  • Keep drain open in adult tub.
  • Never place this product in water in an adult bath tub.

Fall Hazard: Babies have suffered head injuries falling from infant bath tubs.

  • Place tub only in adult tub or on the floor.
  • Never lift or carry baby in tub.

To prevent falls:

  • Place tub only in adult tub or on the floor.
  • Never lift or carry baby in tub.
  • Never use infant tub on a raised surface.
  • Children have drowned while bathing.
  • Children can drown in as little as 2cm of water in a very short time.
  • Always remain in contact with your child during bathing.
  • Babies and young children are at risk of drowning when being bathed.
  • Never use this product on an elevated surface not intended for this product. A list of compatible elevated surfaces (e.g. stands) shall be provided as applicable.
  • To avoid scalding by hot water, position the product in such a way to prevent the child from reaching the source of water.
  • Always check the water temperature before bathing the child.
  • Typical water temperature for bathing a baby should be between 90 and 100°F (32.2 and 37.8°C).
  • Always check the stability of the product before use.
  • Do not use the product if any components are broken or missing.
  • Do not use replacement parts or accessories other than those approved by the manufacturer.
  • This is not a toy.

INTRODUCTION

Congratulations on your new OXO Tot Splash & Store Bathtub
Designed to grow with your child from birth to 18 months, the Bathtub's angled walls and support post keep even the littlest babies comfortable.
When bathtime is over, the Bathtub folds and hangs for compact storage.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Do not use harsh chemicals to clean tub surfaces. Bleach may damage the soft surface.
  • Before first use and after each use, clean with a soft cloth using warm water and mild soap. Allow tub to fully dry before collapsing for storage.
  • Do not unscrew legs or hook components.
  • Watch for sharp objects around the tub.
  • Before each use, inspect the tub to be sure that all parts are correctly positioned and locked.
  • Do not hang other items such as towels, cleaning items or toys off of the bath tub while hanging.
  • Do not use overstretch drain plug.
  • Ensure drain plug is fully secured before filling tub.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Flip Bathtub upside down and unfold legs. Legs will click and lock into place.
    Note: Before each use, test legs to make sure there's no gap and that the leg has snapped into place.
  2. Flip Bathtub over. Press down on support post to expand Bathtub.
    Note: Check to make sure drain stopper is securely sealed before each use.
  3. Place Bathtub in empty adult bathtub. Add as little water as possible to Bathtub. Always check temperature before placing baby in tub. Typical water temperature for bathing a baby should be between 90 and 100°F (32.2 and 37.8°C).
  4. After bathtime is over, use either tab to lift drain stopper and drain the Bathtub. Fully remove drain and stopper for quick drying.
    To replace drain, press both tabs down into Bathtub.
  5. Flip Bathtub over and press on either side of drain to flatten.
    Note: Don't press directly on drain to avoid dislodging it.
  6. Flip Bathtub upside down. Press buttons on legs and hold in as you fold legs inward.
  7. Swing hook out for hanging storage.
  8. The narrow end of the tub is perfect for newborns and smaller infants to help support them. The wider end is ideal for babies who can sit up on their own.
