Page 5: Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter Protection
A GFCI will not work on portable power stations that do not have the neutral wire bonded to the inverter, or on portable power stations which have not been properly grounded. All Mi-T-M portable power stations have internally bonded ground wires. A GFCI will not work if the unit is not prop- erly grounded.

If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. OPERATION CABLE SIZE: Equipment damage can result from low voltage. Therefore, to prevent excessive voltage drop between the portable pow- er station and the equipment, the cable should be of adequate gauge for the length used. The cable selection chart gives the maximum cable lengths for various gauges of wire which can adequately carry the loads shown.

SERVICE BATTERY MAINTENANCE NOTE: When servicing the battery, ALWAYS first remove the multi-pin communication connector. WARNING THE BATTERY HAS A RISK OF HIGH SHORT CIRCUIT CURRENT. • Remove watches, rings, or other metal objects. • Wear safety glasses or approved eye protection when you work near the battery.

SERVICE • Disconnect the charging source before you connect or disconnect the battery terminals. • Battery terminal must be clean to reduce the resistance between the DC terminal and cable connection. A buildup of dirt or oxidation may eventually lead to the cable terminal overheating during periods of high current draw.

SERVICE INVERTER SERVICE Do not dis-assemble the Inverter. It contains no user serviceable parts. At- tempting to service the Inverteryourself may result in a risk of electrical shock or fire. Internal capacitors remain charged after all power is discon- nected. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, disconnect both AC and DC power from the Inverterbefore attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
