EATURES
The powersupplies are an EN54-4:1997+A1+A2 approved power supply for use in Fire & Smoke and
ven�la�on control Systems. Its regulated 27.6V dc output will supply up to 1.2 Amps con�nuous
current into the load, in addi�on to providing up to 300mA for charging the standby ba�ery capaci�es
of 7Ah (BAT7). The power supply output features electronic short circuit protec�on under
both mains and standby ba�ery opera�on. Maximum ba�ery life is assured through con�nuous ac�ve
ba�ery monitoring and the use of a two stage charger, comprising bulk and temperature compensated
final float phase depending upon ba�ery condi�on. Once fully charged the product operates in
Eco power saving mode, whereby the ba�eries are charged for 4 hours in every 24 hour period
while s�ll being con�nuously monitored. This reduces wasted energy in charging already fully
charged ba�eries and extends their working life. Deep discharge protec�on prevents premature
ba�ery failure when opera�ng from standby for extended periods. Two sets of volt free
solid state relay fault output signal (i) loss of mains and (ii) ba�ery fault, charger fault and loss of
output. In addi�on there is an op�onal plug in serial interface that can provide diagnos�c and fault
repor�ng informa�on to supervisory systems.
