    HOW EVAPORATIVE COOLERS WORK This air cooler uses the natural process of water evaporation to reduce air temperature and provide efficient spot cooling. Inside the unit, water is pumped over a honeycomb cooling pad, saturating it. When warm air is drawn through the moist pad, the water absorbs the heat and evaporates, resulting in a cooler airflow.
