    9. Manual Introduction The EPS ONE pH Rx is a compact system easy to install and maintain, which allows to monitor and control the pH and redox potential levels in swimming pools. The system includes a digital controller which operates accordingly with the set thresholds, pH and redox electrodes with BNC connector.

    EPS ONE pH Rx Functional description of the system The display is illuminated and will be in dimmed mode after a period of no use. Once you click on any button, the display will light up again. The display consists 4 lines.

    EPS ONE pH Rx Information behind the slash on the screen As you already have seen, there is a Start-up delay ‘S1’ after the slash. This means that the system is one minute into the start-up delay. If there has been an alarm, the system will do the S1 again after the alarm is gone.

    EPS ONE pH Rx ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS The unit is supplied already wired internally and complete with power cable. This is the only electrical connection to be performed by the customer. Standard power supply: 230 V, 50 Hz, monophasic. Follow the legal directives on electrical home installations.

  • Page 12 EPS ONE pH Rx Step 3: Slide the ferrule including plastic ring and O-ring over the electrode. Step 4: Insert the electrode into the saddle. Step 5: Feel if the electrode is not sitting against the bottom of the pipe, and only then tighten the ferrule (example is with 50mm pipe).

    EPS ONE pH Rx Start-up At system start-up, For a few seconds you will see the name and the software version of the system. You can only see this when starting the system. Then the system goes to the views menu. At start-up the system is in a start-up delay. This gives some time to circulate the water well.

    EPS ONE pH Rx Manual pumping If you want to turn on one of the pumps manually, you can. Pay attention! Manual is really manual so there is no automatic stop or check for any error condition. 1. You go to menu.
  • Page 18 EPS ONE pH Rx The level in a stock tank is low / empty and must be refilled. Both pumps automatically stop dosing. In the example the message is: level pH low. You will also receive a notification if the chlorine is low / empty.

    EPS ONE pH Rx Maintenance Periodic maintenance is essential for the correct functioning of the system. The following advice should be followed strictly. Before any maintenance is done make sure the unit is switched OFF. pH and Redox(ORP) Electrodes If the electrodes react slowly or give a false reading it is recommended to clean it. After use special cleaning fluid.
