Getting to Know Your Camera section. Synectics recommends the following installation method for wall brackets to achieve the correct field of view. This method ensures that the camera is oriented on the bracket with reference to the cable tail direction, so that when the camera is viewing down and travels around its pan rotation, the cable does not obstruct on the field of view.

The continuous rotation model has no mechanical limit fitted to the pan axis. Note: If an 8-hole bracket is specified, only 4 of the 8 holes are utilized for fixing the camera. Moving the jumper on JP6, as shown in figure 2, changes it to a closing contact output. The JP5 header configures the behavior of Relay 2.
Synxplorer to discover the unit and discern its IP address. Unit Discovery Using Synxplorer Synxplorer is a utility which identifies Synectics web-server equipped devices on a network and lists them. Using this list, you can identify such devices and their current network settings. This method is especially effective if you have more than one unit on the same network.
After initial issue diagnosis, upgrade to the latest available version before attempting other troubleshooting processes.
