Mounting the PTZ Model Ensure that the support/mounting structure is secure and rigid. Synectics is not liable for any loss, damage or injury resulting from poor structural mounting or installation. Installing under gantries and steel structures may lead to cross-contamination on the stainless surfaces and result in superficial surface corrosion of this product.
Page 20 Getting to Know Your Camera section. Synectics recommends the following installation method for wall brackets to achieve the correct field of view. This method ensures that the camera is oriented on the bracket with reference to the cable tail direction, so that when the camera is viewing down and travels around its pan rotation, the cable does not obstruct on the field of view.

The continuous rotation model has no mechanical limit fitted to the pan axis. Note: If an 8-hole bracket is specified, only 4 of the 8 holes are utilized for fixing the camera. Using this list, you can identify such devices and their current network settings. This method is especially effective if you have more than one unit on the same network.
