    Introduction How the Camera Works The TrapCam uses 4AA batteries with the attached solar panel that has a built-in back up 18650 battery inside– you’re sure to be powered through your hunting season. The Quest Cameras TrapCam also uses Invisible Flash Technology, coupled with 32 megapixels.

    Power Switch The camera has three working modes: On, Setup, and Off ON MODE: When you switch the camera into on mode, the camera will work according to how the camera menu settings have been configured. SETUP MODE: When you switch the camera into setup mode, you can adjust the menu settings.

    Getting Started Installing the batteries This camera can function on 4AA batteries. Pay attention to the (+) or (-) molded into each sleeve to determine if you insert the positive or negative end into the sleeve first. We recommend charging the internal lithium battery with the included USB-C cord prior to use.

    Installing the SD Card To enable power to the camera, you will need to install an SD card in the slot located at the bottom of the camera. The SD card size is up to 32GB.It’s recommended to use an SD card rated class 10 or above.
