REEL SYSTEM COMPONENTS AND PREPARATION:
Ensure your system has the quantity of cartons shown below, consisting of one
end set and one tube set. 2 people make assembly easier.
Tools required for assembly:
Electric drill Safety Glasses
Tape measure, Pencil & Scissors
Adjustable Wrench
1 Hex Key
STEP 1: SOLAR REEL PLACEMENT:
A.
Determine the best location for the Reel(s) on the pool (see Fig. 2). The end of the pool is often the preferred
location. On some pools, a mid-point location may be required to prevent dragging the blanket over the deck or
avoid diving boards and ladders. Small blanket extensions may be folded in. Wall mounting is possible by
removing the casters.
B.
Trim blanket to clear inside edges of pool. Upon completion of reel assembly and installation, give blanket a
final trim so that blanket does not touch sides of pool when rolling up.

STEP 2: TUBE ASSEMBLY
A. At the determined location, measure the maximum width of cover and add
Insert the End Tubes an equal distance into the Center Tube(s) (see Fig. 3). Always ensure Minimum Insertion of End
Tubes inside the Center Tubes(s) (see Fig. 4). Less than minimum insertion will cause screws to loosen and/or tubes to split.

Ensure the minimum of each end tube is inside center tube.
