    1 Introduction TV302 Infrared Camera adopts the uncooled FPA infrared detector, displaying infrared thermal image with clear definition, high sensibility and pseudo-color, while saving image and voice data into FLASH for filing and computer analysis. Its non-contact measurement matches your requirements of analyzing the surface temperature in different sectors.

    2 Functional keys 2.1 Direct access button  Shortcut key [1] User can define for operating function. The default function is laser locator switch.  Frozen/save key [2](Marked S) Used for frozen or save an image. Press the S (frozen/save) button shortly to freeze the image, press again to save the image, or to store the image into the FLASH storage media by pressing the button for more than 3 seconds.
  • Page 10  OPERATES [5] The OPERATES [5] include up button, down button, left button, right button and confirm button (central), have various functions in different mode.  CONFIRM button activates the main menu of the system. You make the menu choice by press CONFIRM button. In the menu mode, UP/DOWN buttons are used to select same level menu and LEFT/RIGHT buttons are used to select different level menu.

    activate the current measured object’s attribute box. Press the C (cancel) button to delete current measured object.  When choosing the palette, use LEFT/RIGHT buttons to change the palette. System will automatically store the current palette and switch to this palette automatically when user starts the camera next time. Note: Press A (auto) button for more than 3 seconds, camera will make automatic correction to get the best thermal image.

    3 Getting started 3.1 To get an image  Insert the battery into the battery compartment.  Press the power switch for about 3 seconds to power the camera until the power indicator is on.  Remove the lens cover from the camera. Adjust the focus of lens to get the clear image.

    Property of area The property of spot will allow user to modify the emissivity. When “YES” is selected in the “Set Ref”, all other measurement data will show as the temperature difference with reference measurement. In property of line, only the emissivity can be modified. In property of area, the emissivity, type of measurement, area size and position can be modified.

    3.5 Transfer image to PC The camera can be connected to the PC with the USB cable and can format, delete and transfer the data in the camera FLASH. Note: See also >> Report software manual. We recommend using the built-in FLASH format function to format FLSAH.

Show the example is: ‘Temperature range’ is the contents.  Confirm dialogue box entity: Every Confirm dialogue box contents is corresponding to a dialogue box entity.

    4.2 Menu functions The menu system is organized into four main groups: temperature measurement mode, Level/Span, setup, File. When there is submenu it will show to convenient operate. 4.2.1 Temperature measurement mode This function is used to add or delete object measurement. Choose and confirm will show the following dialogue box.

    4.2.2 Level/Span User can observe the more colorful and better quality image via adjusting the relationship of temperature and color. Press Confirm key to activate the main menu and select Level/Span. It can switch auto mode and manual mode. Press A key to select palette and adjust the image manually.

    4.2.3 Setup 4.2.3.1 Temperature measurement setup Press Confirm key to activate the main menu. Select Setup->MeasureSet and press Confirm key to pop up the Measuring Setup dialog box. User can set temperature range, lens type, temperature unit, ambient temperature, reference type and reference temperature.
  • Page 20 temperature automatically.  Reference type: When Ref Type is “On”, the temperature of the measured object displayed on the screen is the difference against the reference temperature.  Reference temperature: When Ref Type is enabled, this item is valid. Fixed temperature or the object temperature can be reference temperature.

     TCorrect:Set correction temperature.  Distance: Set the distance between the camera and the target object. If the distance is less than 10 meters, try to use the practical distance (accuracy is 0.5m).  Humidity: Set ambient humidity when using the camera. 4.2.3.3 Analysis setup Press Confirm key to activate the main menu.

     Alarming Color: When target temperature is higher than the alarming temperature, the alarming area will display the alarming color. There are 9 colors. If set to Auto, it indicates it will not change the screen’s color.  Isotherm Color: Display the image in the set temperature range by isotherm color.

    Month, Day, Hour, Minute and Second. Press Up and Down keys to choose different items, Left and Right keys to modify the item contents. Note: without using for a long time, it needs to reset the system time since the internal battery will not have enough electricity. 4.2.3.5 Local Adapt Press Confirm key to activate the main menu.

     Spot temperature measurement: increase or delete spot;  Area temperature measurement: increase or delete area;  Save key: save the current image.  StandbyTime: If no any action during the set time, the camera will turn off the screen automatically to save the battery. Press any key except power key to reactivate the screen.

    4.2.4 File The file menu contains all the functions dealing with the digital image, with four submenus of Open, Save, Delete and Format. It contains 6 submenus: open, save, auto save, voice annotation, delete, and format. 4.2.4.1 Open Press Confirm key to activate the main menu. Select File->Open, press Confirm key to open the saved images.

    4.2.4.3 Auto save Press Confirm key to activate the main menu. Select File->Auto Save, press Confirm key to pop up the Auto Save dialog box. Press Left and Right keys to set the values. If interval time is 0s, the Auto Save function is disabled. 4.2.4.4 Voice annotation V/Comment Used for replaying voice comment or recording voice comment again.

    6 Troubleshooting In the case that infrared camera may experience problem, please carry through the following examine and repair. If the problem can’t be solved, please remove the power and contact our maintenance department.
