ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Standard Width Gate adjusts to fit openings from 71 to 80cm. Narrow Gate from 65.5 to 74.5cm
This safety barrier has an automatic closing system, if opened within a 90 degree angle.
This safety barrier has a manual closing system, if opened past a 90 degree angle.
The optional stay open feature is activated when the gate is opened past a 90 degree angle.
This safety barrier has an optional One Way Opening Restrictor. Always use this feature when fitting at the top
of the stairs, to prevent the gate opening over the stairwell.
When fitted as instructed, this product conforms to BS EN 1930:2011. This safety barrier is for domestic use
only. Take care when stepping over the bottom bar to prevent tripping. Always check that the safety barrier is
correctly closed. This product has been designed for use with children up to 24 months of age, however this is
dependent on individual development, and it may be appropriate to stop using at a younger age. For example,
stop using the barrier once your child is capable of climbing it. This safety product will not necessarily prevent
all accidents. Be aware of hazards associated with children of all ages using or climbing over it. Never permit
children to swing on the moving section, and when operating the gate be mindful of the risk of trapping small
fingers or limbs. Sharing these instructions with all other users will support safe operation.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
To clean, wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents because
they can be detrimental to the health of your child and can affect the finish of the product. The barrier should be
checked regularly to ensure that it is secure and functioning in accordance with these instructions. Additional or
replacement parts should only be obtained from the manufacturer or distributor. Routinely check the safety barrier
to ensure that equal pressure is still retained across all 4 spindles. Careless handling may cause damage
