1) FlashBack-4G Quick Setup Guide
The FlashBack-4 modem module is a simple upgrade to provide a cellular
network connection to Ovation Systems' FlashBack-4 HD DVR / video streamer.
FB-4G is supplied in two forms: as an upgrade to an existing FlashBack-4 DVR
or as the DVR/ modem combined (see opposite). In either case, the modem and
the DVR can be mounted side by side or separately as required.

2) Installation:
The FlashBack-4 DVR and 4G modem module must be connected with an
i-Conex lead (up to 0.5m) as shown below. This provides the data and power
connection between the units. There are two antenna inputs, the primary input
should always be used first.

IMPORTANT: When operating FlashBack-4 with the 4G modem, the
recommended DC input range is 9 to 30V, rather than 6 to 30 Volts when not
using the modem.

*FlashBack-4 PLS8-X modems with a serial number of 1315 or higher, running
V1.6.203 firmware or higher, are certified for use by Verizon. Verizon 4G SIM cards
may be purchased quoting the device type "FB4G" and the unique IMEI number of the
modem. PLS8-X modems with serial numbers lower than 1315 may be used with
Verizon 4G SIM cards that have previously been provisioned by another Verizon
approved device.
