Operating and installation instructions for Anway LED drivers
For your own safety, please read these instructions before commissioning the product!
Intended use
Anway switched-mode power supply units are intended for the supply of electrical loads and fulfil
the requirements of the RoHS (2011/65/EC), Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU) and EMC Directive
(2014/30/EU). Switch-mode power supply units which, due to their design, are intended as
components for installation in electrical systems may only be installed by qualified specialists! This is
the case, for example, for switched-mode power supply units with screw connections or connecting
cables with open cable ends.
Warning
Failure to observe the following points may result in serious injuries:
• Before commissioning, compare the voltage, current, power and polarity of the switching power
supply with the input voltage and input voltage and the data of the device to be connected. The
values must match the requirements.
• Switch off the input voltage before working on the power supply and secure it against
unintentional switching on again.
To ensure safe operation, regular checks must be carried out, e.g. for damage to the housing

and cables.
In the event of damage or malfunctions, switch off the supply voltage immediately and return

the product for inspection.
All installation and maintenance work may only be carried out by qualified personnel.

The housing must not be opened.

• It is normal and harmless for the housing to heat up during operation. Do not operate the
product in the vicinity of heat sources. Observe the restrictions on the maximum operating
temperatures 'tc' or 'ta'.

Cleaning
Only clean the product with a dry cloth. Disconnect the product from the from the mains voltage
before cleaning.
LED power supply
LED switching power supplies are used to power individual LED chips or LED arrays. They supply a
constant current, a constant voltage or a combination of both. Some models are dimmable on the
input side; in this case, make sure that your dimmer is suitable for operating the LED power supply
unit.
