    Section 1 - Product Overview Introduction The D-Link DIR-629 is an IEEE 802.11n compliant device that delivers up 300 mbps of wireless bandwidth while staying backward compatible with 802.11n/g/b devices.     There are several different ways you can configure your router to connect to the Internet and connect to your clients: • D-Link Setup Wizard - This wizard will launch when you log into the router for the first time. Refer to page 12.

    1. Why can’t I access the web-based configuration utility? When entering the IP address of the D-Link router (192.168.0.1 for example), you are not connecting to a website nor do you have to be connected to the Internet. The device has the utility built-in to a ROM chip in the device itself. Your computer must be on the same IP subnet to connect to the web-based utility.
