If used properly, the “4 WAY MOBILE” allows for extraordinarily high jumps with stability and safety. This spectacular fun-sport can be enjoyed by all ages, allowing all skill levels to partake in acrobatic and coordinative motions that build confidence and exercise the body. Due to the special harness and elastic system, possible neck and shoulder landings have virtually been eliminated, giving the “4 WAY MOBILE”...

600 volts. Flat, grassy fields or asphalt are ideal for the 4 WAY. Do not erect the 4 WAY on a hill or a bumpy ground. When ride is to be used on soil surface an 18 inch square wood board by 2 inches thick must be placed under the support legs.
Page 9
Swing out the arm supports and pin them in place, by installing ½ inch diameter pin through hole and securing with r-clip. Swivel the stabilizing jacks to a vertical position and crank them until they are snug and feel tight. (It is not necessary to raise the wheels of the ground!!) .
Page 10
Crank the jacks down until they are tight to the ground. Attach the poles to the swivel bases with the 5/8 pins and secure by attacking the r-clips on both ends. Attach all 4 poles. (See pictures on next page) Connection from jumper harness to elastics and static rope One aluminum carabineer is connected to each side of the harness Aluminum carabineer connects to the elastics according the weight scale...
Page 11
This aluminum carabineer you attach the one end or the Swivel The other end of the Swivel attaches to the rope. This is repeated for each side of the harness. Repeat for all four stations. (See pictures below) Connections from the aluminum construction to jumper cord. The steel carabineer with swivel pulley on the left attaches to the Eye nut on one side of the pole.
Page 12
Remove the r-clips and pin from the support arm before raising the pole. (See picture above) Carefully Raise either of the end poles and walk them toward the receiving cradle, and pin the pole into place using the pins and r-clips you just removed. Repeat for all other poles. (See picture above) Tighten all of the cables until taught with the turnbuckles.

Install winches on trailer and secure with the pins and r-clips supplied. (1/2 by 4 inch clevis pins) Attach the harness to the loops or power cords. Plug in the unit, and test the smooth operation of the winch, making sure that the ropes are not tangled. (See picture below) We can now begin to inflate the four trampolines by using the supplied 110 volt blower.

D: Operator & Owner Guidelines. Number of Operators Required One operator per in use jump station is required at all times. The Winch The winch is the mechanism that allows for the raising and lowering of the jumper. Do not use the winch if it is raining or lightning.
LOOPS and POWERCORDS LOOPS The elastics are the fundamental element of the 4 WAY, which uses a combination of thin and thick elastic LOOPS. The elastics, in conjunction with the harness, connect the jumper to the frame of the 4 WAY and it is the elastics system that allows the jumper to reach such incredible heights while simultaneously providing the stability for acrobatic movement.

4 WAY. Failure to do so will result in the negation of your warranty and create an unsafe situation. Be sure to store the elastics in a dry place. Should the elastics get wet, dry them completely before using them again. If you have any questions or concerns about the installation of the elastics, contact VERTICAL REALITY FOR SERVICE.
Page 17
Section in the Training Manual. The Harnesses The harness is the actual link between the jumper and the 4 WAY, as it straps the jumper to the elastics system. To safely utilize the 4 WAY, both the jumper and the instructor need to fully understand proper harness fitting, adjusting, and positioning techniques.
Page 18
- Tighten the strap around the leg and check the jumpers’ comfort. If the jumper does not fit in any of the harnesses, do not use 4 WAY!! The harness should fit the jumper tightly, but not so tightly that it is uncomfortable. The harness straps should rest comfortably at the top of the thighs and around the buttocks.
The instructor should not allow any horse-play on the trampolines. The trampoline system is half of the fun in using the 4 WAY but the jumper needs to be very careful on it as well. This means that the instructor needs to always be aware of the jumper and his/her placement on the trampoline.
The instructor/operator plays an integral role in the success of the jumper while on the 4 WAY. He or she has a tremendous responsibility to maintain the jumper’s safety at all times, while giving support and advice to aide in the jumper’s movements.
Page 21
VERTICAL REALITY Be sure that the proper amount of space is given for the construction of the 4 WAY -- 27 feet X 27 feet X 24 feet (height). It is best to allow an additional 3 feet of height for extra safety coverage. In addition, be sure to erect the 4 WAY on a relatively flat ground.
Page 22
Only replace old Bungee trampoline system parts with new Bungee trampoline system parts. Do not use any other elastic, cable, or harness system on the 4 WAY. The use of unsafe materials will void your warranty and result in an unsafe situation. Never allow horse-play around the 4 WAY.
Page 23
D. Safe Usage & Warnings To Be Posted Before riding please read and follow these rules! The 4 Way mobile trampoline system is a physically demanding high active sport activity. Attention all guests: Read Important Safety Information and follow the Instructions of the Attendants at all times.
Page 24
Documentation Mechanical Inspection: The safety check needs to be performed and the corresponding daily safety check sheet filled out as mentioned above before every day of operation. These sheets then need to be kept on file on site for random audits by Officials or Bungee trampoline system/ Vertical representatives at all times.

YOU BEGIN ! You will need to have either a 3/8 drive ratchet, a cordless drill with a 3/8 drive or an adjustable wrench in addition to the Vertical Reality supplied angled screw driver and shaft tool. Begin by removing the fan cover screws on the rear of the winch using the Vertical Reality MFG, INC supplied angled screw driver.
Page 30
Slide the supplied Vertical Reality shaft tool over the winch shaft. The tool is flat on one side just like the shaft and has a 3/8 drive adaptor on the opposite end. Connect your drive tool of choice and begin to turn in the direction that lowers the participant.
